What are you doing this weekend?

Brant and Shaggy are making it hard for themselves. Not only are they heading for the top corner of Scotland, they are doing so to take part in the infamous Strathpuffer 24 hour race...

To give an idea of the location its more than 400miles drive North of our, already Northern, base in Rotherham. In fact looking at a globe shows that Strathpeffer is at pretty much the same latitude as Moscow. The Scottish winter is famously cold and wet and add to that a minimum of 16 hours of darkness it's no surprise the race is often considered the worlds hardest 24 hour race.

Shaggy won it in 2009, but it's taken until now for him to psych himself up to head back. Although his fingers have never recovered from the frostnip...

The intrepid (or foolish?) twosome are using it as an excuse for more Fatty testing as well as training for the imminent Rovaniemi 150 snow race they are doing in Finland.

The forecast is for more snow so hopefully they both come back intact.
