Carbon Cross Peak Performance

Three Peaks aficionado Dave Haygarth has been testing the prototype of the new On-One carbon cyclocross bike and in his own words it is blowing his mind… The "Dirty Disco" (as it is becoming unofficially known), is light, stiff and (you guessed it) disc ready- all you need in a bang up to date carbon cross frame.

It's first ride in anger was up and over Whernside in the Three Peaks Cyclocross and the light, decisive frame was utterly positive both up and down hill. With my race tubulars on it was 18lb too, so very easy on the shoulder- Dave Haygarth

The "Dirty Disco" Cyclocross disc frame is currently in testing but all indications are very positive indeed.

Watch this space or keep in touch with us on Facebook to follow it's progressive.

More news coming soon!

Thanks to Richard Bardgett and Gavin Hetherington for the photos...

Not necessarily- the X Crow is an extremely expensive frame- bear in mind that it's RRP is £1799 for frame and forks only!

  • tim kingston

Thanks - I am guess build cost will be slightly above those of the Guerciotti x-crow taking into account brakes etc?

  • JonB (On-One Team)

    Circa £500 frame £150 forks...

  • Tim Kingston

    Any ideas on pricing?

Ooh...after the weather at the 3 peaks this year, I'm def going for a disc setup soon. 18lbs with discs and a 'normal' build sounds good to me. Similar sizing and geometry to the U John?

  • Dugs

    Want! cost?

  • JonB (On-One Team)

It has 135mm spaced rear drop-outs, so yes to an Alfine hub, with a chain tensioner.

  • robertd

will it take an Alfine hub?

  • JonB (On-One Team)

News just in! Frames will be ready in a matter of days, so only a few weeks away! Coming soon...

  • JonB (On-One Team)

It's vertical drop-out only. More news on availability soon.

  • beltdrive boy

slots and a break in the rear seat stay and this will be a dream bike for fast commuting. Come on, I will buy two!

  • MGE

Nice, any chance it will have slot dropouts?
