Brand New On-One Bars

Boxes of shiny new bars are arriving at On-One. We've expanded our exiting lineup and can now offer something for all tastes, be it for comfortable commuting, nippy traffic dodging, heads-down track thrashing, gnarly downhill or all day XC comfort.

Some folks like big long ones, others like short stumpy ones. Some folks' are nice and straight, while others stick up in the air, or even droop a little. Whatever shape you like, we believe they should be comfortable to grasp, and have come up with a new array of curvy, droopy, pointy and sweepy ones to suit every position you can imagine.

We've doodled and tested and come up with some designs we think will keep a grin on your face while at the same time preventing your face colliding unceremoniously with the dirt. Then we've given them suitably silly names, finished them black, white and shiny polished silver to be sure there's something to match all bikes, and slapped on some natty new graphics.

So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, may we proudly present:

Fleegle

Probably the most unassuming of our family of bars. But that's not to say he ain't tough.
He's also been around a while - but has been updated for 2011 with new finishes and graphics. He's nice and wide and flat, with a bit of a back sweep and is suitably at home on a 29er or on your freeride bike. He's formed from 6061-T6 alloy, so can handle plenty of abuse, but should you really take him places he's not happy, he'll retire with a graceful and face-saving bend rather than an abrupt snap. He'll fit snugly into your 25.4 mm clamp, but if you want to go beefy, some of our Fleegles went on a high-pie diet to chunk up to 31.8mm - for those who just need more girth.

Fleegle Pro

Another old stalwart of the On-One lineup. Fleegle's big brother is a race-hardened, super tough performer. His 2014-T6 alloy construction means he's both stronger and lighter than his sibling but you wouldn't know it to look - he's the same tidy size and shape. Again, some Fleegle Pros are made for skinny 25.4 mm  clamps, and some for the full-fat 31.8. Both have a nice, straight centre section for the attachment of lights and other bar-mounted gubbins.

Snorky

A bit of a retro guy. His curly-moustachio shape harks back to the cruiser days, giving a comfortable sit-up-and-beg commuting position. He comes in standard road-bar diameter, allowing you to fit bar-end levers. But Snorky also has a dark side - when the bat-phone rings he can sit upside down and instantly valmorphanize into a super-fast drop bullhorn bar for when only speed can save the day. Snorky comes in a comfortable 54 cm or a bus-dodging 42cm width.

Drooper

A traditional old Hector. He's a graceful, curvy drop bar, and he's equally at home on the track, commuting, or touring. A little quirkier in looks than a traditional road bar, and with a little more reach and drop than his contemporary, compact cousins. He's happy to sit up front and keep you pointing in the right direction.

Bingo

A lean, mean speed machine. He's also pretty liberal and will happily swing both ways - either as a racy bullhorn, or a more sedate back-pointing street bar - he has the same flat profile either way up so it really doesn't matter. Bingo also fits 22.2mm MTB sized levers, so he's happy to serve as a sturdy tiller for your disc-equipped commuter.
