On-One Carbon Frames Finished and Painted in the UK?

On-One Carbon Frames Finished and Painted in the UK?

Will On-One carbon frames now be finished and painted in the UK?

In a day and age where doing everything "offshore" has been the major trend in the bicycle industry, we at On-One are currently looking to buck the trend by switching final finishing and painting of our all new carbon bikes to the UK.

This will give you much greater flexibility to get what you actually want. First, we need to run a few tests with Denby at his top secret Peak District paint shop to double check it's going to work.

They are currently undergoing a rigorous QC test that has never been passed - higher than DIN, CE, and ISO combined - the painters have just bought a giant lounge lamp for Dave's missus, and if the paint shop can pass the mad Irish woman giant lamp inspection test, then that should be good enough to ensure QC standards to please even the most demanding On-One customers.

We're having a meeting on Friday to see what's going to be possible, but we reckon it's a goer. If it works, there's no need for customers to be constrained by our terrible graphics and inability to hire a decent graphic designer, everything will become possible including intricate airbrushing.

Keep an eye on the website next week as we'll be giving them a half dozen or so frames to show us what they can do.

Good idea. How is this progressing?

This is one advantage for the owner to easily identify his own bike and frame in particular. A very good idea and hopefully will not cost the buyer too much.

heh, funny. It was you guys who showed the cycling industry that a small firm could source quality product overseas at reasonable prices in the first place. Love the idea of possible custom finishing though and added flexibility for you point is; whatever works best, do that!
