I'll bear that in mind - I've just built a polo franken-bike out of the bits that weren't stolen off various bikes over the years, but if I hear of any team who are looking, I'll let them know that you guys are polo-positive.

Croydon was well ruff bruv, but there were good times... Streatham has dogging and Tooting Beck has an interesting mix of curb crawling / transvestite wildlife... makes the commute more interesting :-) Contact me if you want to buy some team frames - I will do you a bulk package deal

What polo needs is fixed/disc hubs (I know Phil Wood does them, but seriously, this is polo). That said I'm still happy fixed with a front brake, as stopping on 40" isn't that difficult. Ever thought about putting up some frames as tourney prizes, or having an official On One team? Also, fuck Croydon. I can understand why you moved a couple of hundred miles away from there.

It could do with a White Agent Sale sign to fill in the front wheel... Shift the Disc to the back.. etc... this was a "look what can be done build + we had some 135mm double fixie hubs lying around... This is a pimped out version of what I used to ride on my Brixton to Croydon commute. Yes I used to have an EBB inbred.... it took 30mins and had a mixture of trail and road... Fixie a bit of fun to scare myself through Streatham woods... or St. Reathram as known by locals innit :-)

Next thurs sounds good to me - don't mind the time as I work flexi and can leave when I fancy! Where's the start ish?

  • tom

Everyone is playing freewheel now it seems, or fixed with a back brake. Looks good though, despite needing wheel discs.

Deffo - I should organise Thursday Night rides from mine... Not this week... Anyone for next? I will work out the official location and post it here... :-) @ 7:00 too late too early?

  • chris

We should do a fixie peaks ride soon Stevo. Tues or thurs night any good for you?

Nice-one Chris, I thought I would open a channel for the "silent" Off-road fixie riders to put words to their pictures :-) I rode Sleepless on a Fixie and saw a few others doing laps...

My pics are already there! Fixed inbred and scandal for superlight build. Both ride great! No suspension, no gears, no slacking! http://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisandsylvia/4178781322/
