Cheers Chris, i run a e13 xcx s3 mount chainguide... same mount as sram xx low front mech, hope this helps... seemed like a more stable option, although you need to add a spacer on the bottom bracket to get the right chainline.
Cool bike. I'm about to put 1x9 on my whippet, as far as I can see the only guide available is the MRP 1.x for direct front derailer mount, is that what you've got on there?
