Yes it is 1 x 9 set up. I am running a 32 tooth ring up front with an e-thirteen chain guide to stop the chain from slipping off. You can make it out on one of the pictures over the top of the ring. Fixes behind the bottom bracket and is nice and lightweight. For Essex it is ideal as never use small or little ring, although went to Wales on it the other week and was brilliant!
is this a 1x9 setup? what size chainring are you running? looks beautiful. thinking about a 1x9 Ti 456 myself. just trying to choose the drivetrain parts, including chainguide and bashguard. looks like you're not using a bashguard. no problems with slippage?
Hi Ian,
Already looking at a nice set of Gold Ti minimal skewers from Superstar components.
Not sure about the lime green cables myself, I am thinking about changing to White.
You will love it when it arrives!

It's a 16" frame. I am 5'8" tall. Any reason?
