Silver Surfer

After some trial and error, the bike is now the way I envisioned. Classic white with details in silver, easy on the eyes without losing modern functionality, takes a pounding but still reasonably swift. The original parts are: Pompetamine XL frame in white, Alfine 8 rear hub in silver, Shimano XT front hub in silver, DT Swiss TK 7.1 36H rims in silver, Continental Top Contact 32mm tyres, FSA Orbit Xtreme Pro headset, Versa VRS-8 road shifter, Avid BB7 disc brakes. I added the following components: Shimano Alfine 39T chainset in silver, Selle Italia Maxflite Gel Flow saddle, Thomson Elite layback seatpost in silver, Thomson X2 stem in silver, Planet X Strada anatomic road bar in silver, Brooks leather bar tape, SRAM PC 991 Cross Step chain, SKS Chromoplastic mudguards, Smart Lunar front and rear lights, Incredibell Headset Bell.
