Oh, and I too took the smoothie reducer headset(for use with a standard 1" 1/8 fork); Feels smooth, looks quality, just buy it.

I picked mine up and built it yesterday. Had the first ride today. All the parts are from a one year old whyte 19 trail. AND no flex and it feels like it eats trail buzz. Only a first impression but top job on one. However the missus says it looks second hand. And I still think the graphics are pants. I think, dump the '456', scale the on one by 50% and use a solid white.But hey I still love the bike. Thanks.

can i just say to people waiting for the hope headset that the on one smoothie headset is a great piece of kit i just fitted mine to the frame and its really good quality looks smart and the reducer part is the race aswell so its all in one. really happy with it.

I think Hope only do the stepdown headset in black.

Got mine today, looks better in the flesh than the pics! Should be a fun ride. Headset will be on tomorrow, so its sat there part built... teasing me!

Hi Mark, we still not to have a definite arrival date for the 16" and 20" Carbon 456's though we are pushing hard and should have a date in the next few days. All indications are that the factory is running about 2 weeks behind schedule, so we'll be looking at mid July for full availability.

Just received the frame. Cheers guys. Very nicely finished. Well woth the wait. Everything suggests it will ride well and front end has a fantastic shape. Should be pretty stout. any updates on the hope step down headsets?

Just got mine, hopefully it's going to be a great riding frame. Shame that after asking everyone's opinion on various graphical options, you chose something else, which IMO is dull and uninspiring.

Any news on the arrival date of the 20" frames (the waiting is the hardest part)...
