Guerciotti Lembeek Cross SRAM Force Large White Red Green

Guerciotti Lembeek Cross Frame with Monocoque Carbon Fork and Headset

In the year of the 25th Anniversary of the second cyclo-cross world championship
won by Vito Ditano at Lembeek, in memory of this historical victory achieved
by the athlete who best represented the Guerciotti trademark in cyclo-cross,
Guerciotti has dedicated the top of the range frame for cyclocross: Lembeek.
The X-Crow model had already reached high quality standards and it was the
bicycle that determined the "explosion" of Marco Aurelio Fontana, the new talent
of international cyclo-cross.
Today, Guerciotti presents a model which represents the utmost for the
most spectacular discipline in off-road cycling.
Lembeek is 15% lighter than the previous X-Crow model, and it is
also 30% stiffer and capable of absorbing all the vibrations in racing
(which is a fundamental element in a discipline like cyclo-cross).
Also the use of a new monocoque fork, studied specifically for
cyclo-cross, enables to have a frame kit allowing very high
performance levels.
In this case also, it took one year of designing and testing
to obtain an exceptionally light and stiff frame. Lembeek
is a monocoque frame which follows the same concepts
of production and choice of materials used for Eureka
(by applying the Raw Material Quality Testing). As it did
a few years ago first with the Alero and X-Crow, and
then with the Libra and Libra Cross, Guerciotti transfers
the technical solutions used in racing to off-road racing,
in order to have two frames of the same level for both
disciplines. Of course, the study of geometries, the
design of tubes and stays are then modified according to the
requirements of cyclo-cross in order to obtain first of all a reliable frame capable of
withstanding all the stresses caused by its use in this discipline. This product will
be used in the cyclocross season 2010/2011 by the multi title holder Team Selle
Italia Guerciott

Sizing Guide

Rider Height Suggested Frame Size
5′3″ to 5′7″ (160cm-170cm) Small, 52
5′8″ to 5′11″ (173cm-180cm) Medium, 56
5′10″ to 6′2″ (178cm- 188cm) Large, 58
6′1″ to 6′6″ (185cm- 198cm) X-Large, 60

Sizing Notes

All frame size recommendations are approximate. A good fit will also depend on the correct choice of stem length, correct bike set-up for the rider and riding style.

Correct frame size choice can vary greatly with riders' torso length. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for a slightly shorter stem. If you think you are borderline between sizes, and you have longer legs and a shorter torso, go for the smaller frame size. If you have shorter legs and a longer torso, go for the larger frame size to get the extra top tube length.

As the frame sizes increase, so does the length of the head tube. If you are inflexible or perhaps have a history of back problems, consider going for a larger frame size. This will increase the relative height of the handlebars making the position less “extreme”. The larger frame will also have a longer top tube, so you’ll need to compensate for this with a shorter stem.
