The special front only version is designed for safe handling and braking grip. With new placed U-Blocks on the shoulders the Fat Albert Front tackles curves precisely.
TrailStar-Triple-Compound is optimized for Enduro and Freeride. Triple Nano compound was unsuitable performance-wise and the rolling resistance of Gooey Gluey was too high. TrailStar has substantially more grip, better damping and handling control. Nevertheless, the compound is not overly heavy, making it suitable for climbing too.
Fat Albert Front is available in different versions. Double Defense offers an even more increased puncture resistance with its HD Ceramic Guard. The tubeless version is particularly strong. A butyl layer covers the inside of the tire, while on the outside SnakeSkin fabric covers the side walls.
Note: All Schwalbe tires of the Evolution Line are tubeless ready. In combination with Schwalbe Doc Blue puncture protection they can be used as a tubeless tire.
