It's back to the future for the 2012 Inbred as we pare our chromoly steel classic to basics.
The Inbred has a simple mission: make it easy to build a great mountain bike for UK conditions at an unbeatable price. The latest Inbred remains true to that aim with steel-is-real performance.
To keep it simple (and keep the cost you you down!) we're now giving you three versions to choose from: vertical drop-out, slot-dropout and singlespeed.
All Inbreds have our tried and true cross-country geometry, honed over 10 years of development. The handling is great for long days out on the moors and - in skilled hands - bombing trail centres.
This is the vertical drop-out version, for riders who intend to run a derailleur gear transmission. Cable routing is for fully-enclosed cables to keep out the horrid British muck. Or whatever local horrid muck you want to exclude. Huge mud room and chainring clearance stops things getting claggy.
The Inbred is designed for contemporary forks with up to 120mm travel and disc brakes.
