Stunning masterpiece for the Eagle, our flag ship of the entire collection, the culmination of almost 10 years of experience in the cycling eyewear field. Frame made of
Grilamid TR90 material: very lightweight, impact resistant, secure, flexible, virtually indestructible and unbreakable (it bends instead of breaking). Three sets of very technical lenses: red or blue revo (depending on the chosen model), orange hydro phobic and clear photo chromic.
The orange hydro phobic and oleo-phobic lenses in particular, manufactured in France, are made of MAKROLON, a material from BAYER MATERIAL SCIENCE. The Orion Surface Treatment technology (O.S.T.) with Bayer Abrasion Test Level 5, allow
these very special lenses to be totally hydrophobic, oleo- phobic and antistatic. Therefore rain, mud, fat, sweat, and various types of oils do not stick at all on these very
special lenses but go away very easily. This leads the cyclist to have a sharp, clear and unobstructed vision with some important advantages such as the low maintenance of the
lenses: smudges and smears wipe off easily, no smearing nor streaking, no oil nor water/sweat smears, no blurred vision because the vision stays instead sharp and crystal clear at all times.
The photo chromic lenses are instead purchased from the United States of America (manufactured in a ISO 9001 environment and tested by the Colts Laboratories in Florida)
and go from clear (87% of light transmission) to dark grey (20% of light transmission) in only 8 seconds and from dark grey back to clear in 60 seconds. They are among the most
efficient photo chromic lenses nowadays available to the cycling community. Obviously these lenses, just like all Power Race lenses, 100% protect against UV-A (290-315nm.)
and UV-B (315-380nm.) rays and of course comply to the strictest quality standards for lenses such as ANSI Z80.3 (in U.S.A.) and EN1836 (in Europe). Last "little" detail is
the fact that these very special lenses are 100% completely anti-fog and when we say 100% completely anti-fog we really mean it. Try to breath on these special lenses even from
